Topic: Peace and Justice Futures
Title: "Iraqi & American Reconciliation Project-"
Speaker: Luke Wilcox, Iraqi & American Reconciliation Project - Development & Communications Director
Abstract: Luke Wilcox spent 5 weeks in the summer of 2011 in Najaf, Iraq as an unarmed American working with the Muslim Peacemaker Teams (MPT), a non-profit organization based in Najaf. He was invited by Sami Rasouli, Iraqi-American director of the Muslim Peacemaker Teams and co-founder of the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project (IARP) in Minneapolis. Luke will talk about his experience and what he heard and learned from Iraqis.
