Title:  "The Future of the Minnesota Government and the Federal Government in 2020 and 2030"

Speaker:  Bill Peter

Abstract:  In the 2010 election, Minnesota changed from a Republican Governor with a Democrat Senate and Democrat House, to a Democrat Governor with a

Republican Senate and Republican House. In the Federal Government, the House moved from heavily Democrat to heavily Republican, and the Senate moved

from heavily Democrat to slightly Democrat controlled.

Bill Peter has consulted with many companies and elected government officials and will share some of his findings regarding possible, likely, and preferred

futures for the Minnesota Government and the Federal Government. This is sure to lead to a very stimulating discussion by the Minnesota Futurists. We will

strive for a clear definition of our conclusions, as a basis for our potential individual actions in the political arena in 2012. The Minnesota Futurists is not in the

role of taking any political public positions.
