I will start the SIG with a 9 minute video from RSA Animate titled, "Changing Education Paradigms," that explains how it was designed in the19th century (it hasn't changed) and explains what the new paradigm needs to be. It provides no clues as to how to implement the new paradigm. That will be the task of the participants. I will describe the top down approach; the bottom up approach; a combination of the two; with a final section on why centralized and decentralized strategies are both essential. It isn't going to to be elegant, I don't have time to make it pretty.
