    Title: "Cloudy, with a Chance of Rain" (I.E. Cloud Computing)

    Guest Speaker: Bruce Healton

    Abstract: 

Smartphones, tablets, and laptops have become the weapons of choice for the current generation of road warriors and knowledge workers. This increasingly mobile workforce also expands the challenges to the organization to provide these workers with access to the applications and proprietary information in a timely and secure manner. Many organizations have been looking to the Internet and cloud computing to provide support for these users. But in doing so, have they compromised the security and integrity of their operations to the increasingly malevolent cast of hackers, crackers, cranks, and NGO warfare?   

       Bruce Healton is a nationally recognized consultant with more than 30 years experience in solving business problems by creatively applying process and technology. His experience is concentrated in financial applications, global business operations, and technology-intense services. He has applied his practical problem-solving skills in the research and implementation of security, privacy and authentication in practice development, knowledge transfer, operational auditing, standards compliance and remediation.
